About

{cliche but so true} A human who travels is one who seeks to go beyond her comfort zone. To challenge herself with uncertainty, unknown adventures and discomfort. For only that comes growth. πŸ™‚

{backstory} A city girl through and through, my world used to be confined to sunny Singapore. Much has changed since I started traveling 5 years ago. Taking small steps each time, I was once afraid of talking to Westerners, for I didn’t know what to talk to them about (or if they’d even understand my accented Singapore-English). That changed bit by bit, the more I realised that all these worries were just in my head. I grew to throw all my preconceptions that Asian girls don’t travel much (vs Germans/ French), and sought to create my own adventures. A trained dancer (Ballet & Contemporary), I am moving to bring the joys of dancing to villages and children/adults as I travel. This comes in form of creating and giving Yoga/ Dance sessions as I travel.

{for sharing’s sake if you’re keen!} I’m really blessed to have been to much of Europe, Asia and am now volunteering long-term at The Mindfulness Project in Khon Kaen, Thailand — A space for permaculture, natural building, yoga, meditation & all sorts of interesting and inspiring people! ❀ Next up on my plans are India, Japan and S. America, where I hope to live in, learn more about traditional dances of the region, Yoga, Feldenkrais and approaches to dance as therapy, like BioDanza, and bring the joys and power of Dance & free movement to more around me.

I hope that all these chronicles will inspire you to create your adventures too and never be afraid to take the first step πŸ™‚
